The Palos Verdes Youth STEAM Association is proudly powered by dedicated high school volunteers who are passionate about science, technology, engineering, arts, and math. Our volunteers design and lead engaging hands-on experiments using accessible, everyday materials to spark curiosity in learners of all ages. They contribute their time and creativity to create free, community-based opportunities for students, ensuring everyone can explore and enjoy the world of STEAM.

Our science experiment classes are held on Sundays  from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Peninsula Center Library in the Purcell Meeting Room on the third floor. These sessions are open to students of all ages and are completely free to attend.

Upon completion of our seasonal sessions of up to four classes. volunteers will participate in an awards ceremony where they will receive their certificate of community service.
